I always like to make a little extra homemade roast pork and stash it in the freezer for those “I don’t feel like cooking” days. 😌
And today’s one of those days! Thankfully, I have some frozen roast pork ready to go, so I can whip up a quick and delicious Youmai with Roast Pork with just a few simple ingredients.
Sometimes, a little meal prep on a good day makes a rainy day so much easier. ❤️
Here’s how I do it!

Roast pork, sliced
Youmai, washed, spun dry and cut into bite-sized pieces
Garlic, minced
Oyster sauce, to taste
Lard Oil
Method
1. Heat a wok or frying pan over medium-high heat.
2. Add the roast pork and fry until lightly browned and the fat has rendered.
3. Add the garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
4. Add the youmai and stir-fry over high heat until just cooked but still slightly crisp.
5. Add oyster sauce and toss everything together until well coated.
6. Serve hot with steamed rice.
