Old School Dinner

There’s something so comforting about old school dinners like this— simple ingredients, one pan, and that nostalgic sweetness of baked beans mixed with savoury golden potatoes and crispy luncheon meat. It’s quick, hearty, and the kind of meal that just feels like home.

Here’s how I do it!

Ingredients

½ can luncheon meat, diced
2 potatoes, diced
1 can baked beans

Method

1. Prepare the Ingredients

• Dice the luncheon meat and potatoes into bite-sized pieces.

2. Cook the Potatoes

• Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the potatoes until golden and cooked through.

• Remove and set aside.

3. Cook the Luncheon Meat

• In the same pan, fry the diced luncheon meat until lightly browned.

• Set aside.

4. Warm the Baked Beans

• Pour the baked beans into the pan and heat through gently.

5. Combine Everything

• Add the cooked potatoes and luncheon meat back into the pan and stir to combine well.

6. Adjust and Serve

• Add a splash of water to loosen the sauce to your preferred consistency.

• Serve warm.
