Here’s how I do it!
Ingredients
2 tbsp caramel sauce
3 tbsp light soy sauce
3 cloves garlic
200ml water
Method
1. Prepare the Sauce
• In the Instant Pot, add water, soy sauce, caramel sauce, and garlic cloves.
• Stir well to combine.
2. Add the Chicken
• Place the chicken thighs into the pot, ensuring they are coated with the sauce.
3. Pressure Cook
• Set the Instant Pot to High Pressure for 15 minutes.
• Once done, perform a quick release.
4. Reduce the Sauce
• Switch to Sauté mode and simmer until the sauce reduces and thickens slightly.
5. Braise Evenly
• Flip the chicken thighs to braise the other side, allowing both sides to absorb the flavour.
6. Serve
• Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy warm alongside other side dishes for a wholesome, balanced meal.
