Ingredients
2 chicken thighs
1 herbal soup pack (store-bought Chinese herbal mix)
1/2 tbsp salt
1.2L water
Method
1. Start the soup
β’ In a pot, add 1.2L water, chicken thighs, herbal soup pack, and salt.
2. Boil and simmer
β’ Bring everything to a boil over high heat.
β’ Once boiling, lower the heat and simmer gently for 1 hour with the lid on.
3. Adjust if needed
β’ Check occasionally. Add more water if too much has evaporated.
4. Serve
β’ Remove from heat.
β’ Serve hot with rice or as a nourishing broth.
