My Go-To Gochujang Pork Recipe!
If there’s one dish I keep coming back to when I’m craving something bold, spicy, and packed with flavour – gochujang pork. The combination of Korean red chili paste, garlic, soy sauce, and a touch of sweetness creates the perfect balance of heat and umami. Plus, it’s super easy to make!
Ingredients
300g pork belly slices
2 tbsp gochujang
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp plum syrup
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 medium onion, chopped
Method
1. Marinate the Pork
• In a bowl, mix gochujang, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, plum syrup, garlic and onion.
• Add the sliced pork and coat well.
• Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Cook the Pork
• Heat a pan over medium-high heat.
• Add the marinated pork and cook for 3-4 minutes until caramelised and fully cooked.
3. Serve & Enjoy
• Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
• Serve with steamed rice
