Easy Bulgogi Beef

Beef bulgogi is one of the easiest and most flavourful Korean dishes you can make at home. Thinly sliced beef is marinated in a sweet and savoury mix of soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and a touch of sugar, then quickly stir-fried until tender and caramelised. It’s perfect for busy weeknights and pairs beautifully with steamed rice, lettuce wraps, or even noodles. With just a few simple ingredients, you can enjoy authentic Korean flavour!

Ingredients

1/2 Onion, sliced thinly

3 cloves Garlic, minced

1 Leek, sliced thinly

500g Beef Short Plate Strips

200ml Bulgogi Beef Sauce

Method:

  1. Marinate beef short plate with bulgogi beef sauce for at least an hour.
  2. In a hot pan, add 1 tbsp cooking oil.
  3. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add marinated beef and fry until beef is dry and browned.
  5. Lastly, add in the leek and fry until it is soft before serving.
