I have been watching this new variety show called “Jinny’s Kitchen” on Prime Video. This has got me craving for Korean food every night!
One of the recipe that was shared on the show is this dish called a “Chibap”. So what’s a Chibap?
Chi = Chicken
Bap = Rice in Korean
I followed the recipe once and oh my, it’s a very easy meal to prep and cook, especially for the kids’ lunch! Now, it’s one of my staples for when I want cook something fast and simple!

To recap, below is the list of ingredients for my Chibap!
Ingredients (serves 4)
1/2 Onion, sliced thinly
3 cloves Garlic, minced
3 pieces Chicken Cutlet, cut into bite sized
2 cups Rice, cooked
2 tbsp Korean Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Oligosaccharide Syrup
Method:
- If using frozen chicken cutlet, reheat in air fryer/oven 200degC for 15 mins, flipping once midway.
- In a hot pan, add 1 tbsp cooking oil.
- Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Add chicken cutlet and cooked rice.
- Add seasoning sauces and mix well.
